10 Minute Timer

Start a 10 minute timer for a short study session, a screen break, stretching or a task in the kitchen. Ten minutes is 600 seconds. This page is already set to 00:10:00, so you can press “Start” to begin without entering a duration. Large digits make it easy to see how much time remains.
Use “Pause” to take a break from the countdown and “Resume” to continue from where you stopped. “Reset” stops the timer and returns the selection to 10 minutes. You can still adjust the duration with the columns, the adjustment buttons or the keyboard. After the countdown ends, “Restart” starts another countdown with the duration you last used.
Enable “Sound” if you want an audible alert at the end of the countdown, and use “(Check)” to test it. When time is up, a message appears; closing it also stops the alert. If your browser blocks automatic sound, press “Play sound” in the message.
Your running or paused timer is restored when you reload this page in the same browser, provided browser storage is available. Its saved state is separate from the general online timer. Keep this page open to receive the end notification; the sound may be delayed while your device is asleep or your browser suspends the tab.
